Marfa Travel Session

Every year I try to think of something bigger and better for my girls to travel to and explore. Well, little ol’ Texas had this sweet little gem hiding away and I of course wanted to photograph there. So off I went planning away on outfits and more to make both of these looks come alive. Fast forward to the weekend of our shoot plus 7 hours later (1 way) and we finally arrived to our destination! When I say this place is in the middle of no where, I mean no cell service, barely any cars coming by, middle of no where. Which of course worked out perfectly for us! For the first outfit, I of course wanted the chic/glam feel for this amazing art installation and this simple outfit by Rue 21 made it happen! Dark lips and dramatic eyes and BOOM, magic! For the second outfit, I really wanted something empowering! So the theme for this one was Apocalyptic warrior. This outfit wasn’t meant to be your average Joe feel and I hit up 2 different thrift shops to make this outfit pop. While creating this set alone, I really wanted these images to scream STRONG, CONFIDENT, and overall BAD***! I can’t wait for my next adventure with my role model team and bring another shoot to life! Enjoy!
